The SSRI GT3 league has grown to be a VERY competitive field of drivers in both Tier 1 and Tier 2. Who expects that Tier 2 is amateur night is wrong, some facts and figures: Pole position Tier 1: 01:40.805 by Sem Spenkelink , Pole position Tier 2: 01:41.730 by Silvian Michinete, that’s under 1 second difference around the 4.529 km (2.814 miles) circuit of Kyalami.
With the final round of the season in tier 1 the fight was still on for the top 3 was still on between Dean Riley, Adrien Antomarchi, Klait Bani and Sem Spenkelink. In tier 2 Mike Abrunhosa had a comfortable lead but the battle for P2 / 3 was still on between Nelson Abrunhosa, Tim Nijboer and Danny van der Veen. The GT3 season has come to an end, the standings will be updated shortly and SGP updated accordingly to taking into account the stewards rulings from the last race. We would like to thank all drivers for the great racing and the commentary team for their efforts providing the epic broadcasts. It was great to see how the season developed and the grid was relatively full the whole season. The SSRI Admin team is currently hard at work putting together the new GT4 season.
