Misano Madness

March 8th 2022 race 3 in the SSRI GT4 Series takes is to the land of pizza, pasta and vino. You guessed it, America uuh i mean Italy. As we are still awaiting for Kunos to finally release some ACC DLCMarch 23rd. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli consists of 16 turns and is 4.180 km (2.597 mi) long. Pronouncing the full circuit name with a fake Italian accent takes roughly the same time as a lap in a GT4 car. All ingredients are there for an action packed race.

For this round of the GT4 season the event format consisted of 2 30 minute races with no mandatory pitstop and a 20 minute qualifying session. In these shorter sessions drivers are usually less patient and tend to take some more risk. To quote the famous Mario Andretti “If everything seems under control, you’re just not going fast enough.” Time to sit back and enjoy the livestream, this week commentated by Chris Hill with Tom van de Meer behind the camera’s.
