‘Champion’ is a state of mind

Champions are not the ones who always win races – champions are the ones who get out there and try. And try harder the next time. And even harder the next time. ‘Champion’ is a state of mind. They are devoted. They compete to best themselves as much if not more than they compete to best others. Champions are not just athletes.

Tuesday the 17th of May marked the final round of the SSRI GT4 season at Donnington Park. This round consists of 2 races so there where 100 points left to give out. Would Lewis continue his winning streak, or will Kieran Vidago challenge him for the championship win this final round? All ingredients for an exciting season finale.

Donnington park is 4.020 km (2.498 miles) long, and has 11 corners (12 if you count “The Esses” as 2 corners), it’s located at the Donington Hall estate. The track has sweeping up and downhill corners making it challenging to hit the apex consistently. Especially with 1 evening race the drivers had their work cut out for them. But a video says more then my mumbling, so enjoy the live coverage by the team at Simsport Solutions, the lovely Sam Pearce and Patrick Prince on comms and Chris “Jedi” Hill controlling the camera’s.
