SSRI LAPS 4 LIFE BATHURST 24H

On December 14, 2024, Simsport Racing International (SSRI) will host the Laps 4 Life Bathurst 24-hour endurance, uniting our sim racing community to support The Christie Charity, a leading cancer treatment and research institution. This event honors the memory of Gareth P. Longden, a dedicated fundraiser for The Christie who lost his battle with cancer.

The race will feature up to 45 teams, each comprising between one (yes one) and six drivers, competing from noon on December 14 to noon on December 15. 100% of the proceeds go to The Christie Charity. The event is organized entirely by volunteers, including stewards, broadcasters, and administrators, ensuring that all funds raised go directly to support the charity’s mission.

In November 2023, SSRI organized a similar event, raising over £ 5,000 for The Christie Charity. This year’s goal is to match or exceed that amount, continuing Gareth’s legacy of fundraising for cancer patients.

Spectators can watch the race live on SSRI’s YouTube channel, Simsport Racing TV.
